I had the opportunity to sit down with Michelle, one of the owners of Geppetto, and it took about five minutes to understand exactly how much heart goes into this place.

I have had the chance to try Geppetto on three separate occasions since living in Torrington, and each visit has reinforced the same thing. The Bolognese with homemade pasta is the kind of dish that makes you understand the difference between a restaurant that makes things from scratch and one that does not. We have also had espresso martinis there on more than one occasion, and we have bought their bread to bring home, which says something on its own, a restaurant good enough that you are still thinking about it after you have left.
